These songs are all still under copyright!

Aragon Mill - Si Kahn compositions have been covered by well over 100 performers and include such folk and bluegrass standards as "Aragon Mill," "Gone, Gonna Rise Again," and "Wild Rose of the Mountain". http://www.appleseedrec.com/sikahn/

Farther Along - It was written by W.B. Stevens-J.R. Baxter ©1938 Stamps-Baxter Music

Happy Birthday - Many question the validity of the current copyright, as the melody of the song was most likely borrowed from other popular songs of the time, and the lyrics were improvised by a group of five and six-year-old children who never received any compensation.[10] The song is currently set to pass in to the public domain in 2030. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Birthday_to_You

Honey Boy- written by Louis Franklin.  http://www.fiddlersfrolics.com/halloffame/lfranklin.htm

"Lewis (actually Louis) was born in 1923. _____ was wondering the whereabouts of Louis Franklin, and I'm happy to report that he's doing just fine. He's not playing as much as he used to, but when he gets warmed up real good (a few tunes and maybe a couple of beers), he still plays fantastic. We played together 2 or 3 months ago and he played so good it gave me cold chills.

"Louis was in a 1991 TV movie called West Texas Wind. It starred Dolly Parton as, get this, a country singer. The members of Asleep at the Wheel played her band. Larry Franklin, typecast as the fiddle player, brought his dad, played by Louis, to the studio where he (Louis) played a tune for them until the manager Ben Rayson (played with incredible authority by Ray Bensons) came in and broke it up."

I'll Fly Away - This song was written by Albert E. Brumley and is under copyright*

*"Yes, this is part of "I'll Fly Away" which is still owned and under copyright by us. The actual words however are: 'One Glad morning when this life was o'er...' Many people have substituted the word bright, but it is actually glad."

              Best Wishes,

Scotland the Brave - lyrics only - The tune is PD. Just don't sing. "In response to a complaint we have received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed a result from this page." http://lyrics.rare-lyrics.com/C/Celtic-Folk/Scotland-The-Brave.html

You Are My Sunshine - The copyright to "You Are My Sunshine" is now perhaps the most valuable in country music. http://www.cmt.com/artists/news/1472470/20030610/davis_jimmie.jhtml
